Who are the Knights

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.8 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Membership Benefit

Being a member of Council 12335 provides members with the opportunity to serve in many areas. The Council serves St. Gabriel with over 2000 hours of service during the year. Brother Knights serve on all ministries within the church, to include members of the Youth Ministries (Teen Youth Group, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and American Heritage Girls), Mens Ministries to include the Men’s Prayer Group, Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion, Lectors, Music, Sound System, Ushers, Food Pantry, Soup Kitchen, Respect Life, Health and Wellness, Befrienders, Parish Welcome Committee, and the Hispanic Ministry.          

 

 

How to Join

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church. Application blanks are available from any member of the Knights of Columbus or at the St. Gabriel resource board in the Narthex.
